Mr. Rajesh Maharshi
Mr. Rajesh Maharshi is a seasoned and highly respected Advocate with over two decades and a half of distinguished legal practice. He has been practicing before the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench, District & Sessions Courts at Jaipur, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), and various judicial and quasi-judicial tribunals across Rajasthan.
Enrolled with the Bar Council of Rajasthan in the year 1999, Mr. Maharshi has since appeared and advised clients in more than thousands matters and continues to maintain a dynamic and diverse litigation practice. His areas of expertise include Civil Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction, Service Law, and matters involving statutory and regulatory authorities. He regularly appears before the Rajasthan High Court, District & Sessions Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Mr. Maharshi also represents clients in matters involving investigation and enforcement agencies such as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), including complex and high-profile cases. In 2019, Mr. Maharshi was appointed as Additional Advocate General by the Government of Rajasthan at the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench. In this prestigious capacity, he represented prominent State instrumentalities including Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRDCC), Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF), Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (RVVNL), Rajasthan State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation (RSFCSC), Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), and the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (Ajmer). His tenure reflected the trust reposed in his legal acumen, integrity, and ability to handle complex constitutional and administrative matters of public importance.
Additionally, Mr. Maharshi served as Special Public Prosecutor for ACD & SOG, Government of Rajasthan, where he handled sensitive and significant prosecutions, further strengthening his reputation for disciplined and principled advocacy. Beyond his courtroom achievements, Mr. Maharshi has actively contributed to the legal fraternity through leadership roles in The Bar Association Jaipur.
He served as Joint Secretary (2001), General Secretary (2004), and President (2015) of The Bar Association of Jaipur, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to professional development, institutional strengthening, and the welfare of the Bar.
